Blue flag - native to NA, non-invasive

This is an older Louisiana type called Clyde Richmond. I’ve kept it in the bog in my pond for years and planted this one in my rain garden last year. I believe it is considered a native, although selectively bred.

Nurseries around here don’t sell anything fancy like that!!!

My mum’s neighbor was getting rid of a few clumps of these. I don’t have a home for them yet, but I couldn’t let them be thrown away.

It’s been downpouring here so even though these just bloomed yesterday they’re looking a bit dessicated.
