Just saw this article about Japanese plum

The writer speaks of the testimony of one grower. I hope everyone that reads the article doesn’t assume they will have that growers good fortune (if he was even quoted accurately, which I rather doubt). Most sites, even if you control PC, you still eventually have to control brown rot most seasons- and I’ve never heard of anyone suggesting that two sprays are adequate- although I’ve never tried it and can’t speak with experiential authority. Maybe some forum members will try such a low spray program where PC is dominant and report on results. Of course PC pressure fluctuates quite a bit year to year. I already know that without synthetic brown rot control you are unlikely to harvest ripe Shiros on wet seasons.
