A new hybrid tomato that a friend of my daughter created. They are two tones, purple and yellow, very attractive looking.
Just picked so will let them settle for a couple of days before trying them.

This hybrid tomato has grown very tall (7 ft). We did not know what to expect so we put both plants in a 7 gallon pot!!.
People who tasted them like them. I think it is mild. Many could not believe they are tomatoes. They all said the color is quite unusual for tomatoes.

I’m trying some Legend tomatoes this year. Supposed to have good blight resistance.
Anxious for the first BLT of the season.

How did your Legend tomatoes do? I am a HUGE fan of tomatoes, I would even eat tomato only sandwiches but a good BLT is heavenly.
Legends did well and a good producer and flavor. I recommend it.

We do the recipe from Jim Lehay’s book, My Bread.
It’s a no knead method that is wonderful.
I also recommend Black Sea Man. Its a determinate with excellent flavor and good production.
