Beautiful, beautiful EMLA 7 root stocks arrived today, just as needed. You could mop a floor with the roots. I put them in the fridge and am debating whether to plant them out right away or wait a couple of weeks for the weather to warm. Will probably put them in a nursery bed soon and graft to them pretty promptly. I ordered four, which is more than I need to rebuild a friend’s favorite old Wealthy, so will probably play around a bit.
Couldn’t have asked for a nicer looking bunch of plants. Securely packaged in stout inner plastic and sturdy outer cardboard box. Great job.

I just received some EMLA 111 and scion from 39th Parallel and they were top notch and I ordered on a weekend and received them on Wednesday. Great service and quality.

Behind the scenes Mike is a really busy guy. He is meticulous with scions and tree and order management.
A look in the coolers
I was doing some browsing for fruit trees and scions there today. Since i live close to Mike and with shipping charges being an additional expense it makes sense for me to drive there several times a year or more. Mike is also a good friend of mine and has been for many years. Look at the size of the trees and the root systems but that is what @marknmt post is about! I wasn’t after rootstocks this time but i will ssurprise you later on with some things i picked up.
There is an expansion project underway for the addition of another large cooler. He should finish the new cooler this week.
