our season has been so screwed up this year. it is october and we still have unripe peaches on the trees. I’m picking all of those. tomorrow we are set for a low of 17f. the trees haven’t even thought about preparing for fall, it’s been in the 60s or higher to this point. 5 years ago we lost cherry and apple trees when we had a late warm fall and then a sudden ice cold snap with no warning.
is there anything I can do to help my trees survive? these are 4 years old, carefully groomed and producing wonderfully. I’ll be so sad if they die. I’ve got 4 peach trees of various varieties.
