It is that time of the year when I look over my hanging fruit and check for damage. The damaged ones are picked and taste tested. Some need more ripening time but a few prematurely ripen. These are three I picked yesterday. Even with the damage the Fall Fiesta and Mutsu needed a lot more tree time but he King David was pretty good and offered a glimpse into how good it could be when it is ripe.
