I’m giving it a try. Just took cuttings today. Should have started a little sooner. Will report results. Cuttings were from peach, plum, mulberry, honeyberry. Should have started honeyberry much sooner as it would like to be dormant already this time of year in the high heat.
Hi Dennis,
How did your experiments turn out?I was too busy to try last year. Brady
I rooted my proprietary peach x almond cuttings and I had 90% sucess. I used rooting gel plus a secret formula.
Are you being funny, or is it really a secret?
Both, well, 10% funny.
I don’t know if I should reveal my secret?
We won’t tell. Smile.
I’d encourage you to tell. That’s part of what this forum is all about – sharing and receiving knowledge.
Personally it gives me a pleasant feeling if I may share, it granted a positive contribution to a constructive Forum
Here’s the secret formula.
Love, Patience, and Dedication.
Ok, here’s the secret formula.
Baking Soda and Ground Cinnamon.
I didn’t have much luck rooting cuttings except for the mulberry. It was my fault for various reasons. I still think Alcedo has a good technique and I’ll try it again next year, maybe.
