About how many weeks after do you check to see if the grapes are ripe?

Hope grapes being mid-season ripen about August 19 at west–central Arkansas which is zone 7b-8a. Swenson Red, also being a mid-season grape should ripen about the same time. Of course, that is all relative to location despite zoning. My Swenson Reds are ripening now.
@mrsg47 I can’t get over how healthy your leaves are compared to mine. I must have burnt mine with Captan. Also, have substantial Japanese beetle damage. What fungicide and insecticide have you been using?
