Any advice on Patch budding of Sweet Chestnuts?
I have a 20mm dia ‘scion’ given to me, of a Sweet Chestnut tree, thgat is only 10 cm long. I have some Swt Chts rootstocks of a similar diameter. I was thinking that patch budding would be the only option.
Any thoughts please.
Anybody used dimethyl sulphoxide on the joints to improve the take.
