Very interesting! I’m guessing that star fruit was rank…
Or as he says, “projectile fruit.”
seems like he picked a fermented one. A good variety picked at its prime shouldn’t be that bad.
Hello All. I am beginning to do some work on Roger Meyers old farm. I am wondering if there is still a market for jujubes in this community?
big market no doubt!
what cultvars are u selling?
I’m interested in your operation with Rogers old plants.
I’ve propagated tigertooth on their own roots and planted them in the field. In several years, I’ll want to graft many of these over to a number of varieties and be looking for scions. Roger was a great source of both scions and information.
New to the site. We knew Roger thru his work and affiliation with CRFG. Bought several jujube’s from him when we visited his property outside Escondido. We have relocated to the east coast and are looking to begin our orchard. Did you continue the nursery operations? I would be interested in purchasing several more trees.
