Anyone grow Tardibelle Peach?

I have a chance to get some Tardibelle peach scion wood and would
like to hear from anyone that grows it.

It looks like a really late peach, 60+ days after Redhaven peach. I thought my Flaming Fury peach was pretty late, 40+ days after Redhaven peach. I hope someone has some good input about this Spanish peach.

I wonder why they do not propagate these varieties in the US?

Look at these.

A whole bunch of these are actually US peaches, mostly from Zaiger. I guess many of the Italian bred peaches would likely only work in California climate in the US. Also, the Plum pox (sharka) virus is present in most of Europe, including Italy, so importing any stone fruit material from there is not simple.

I agree with you. Importing any of these varieties from overseas is nearly impossible.
