I’m curious about some American persimmon varieties, especially some that Nolin River Nursery lists but that I haven’t heard of anyone else growing (except Red Fern I think grows Evelyn.) But does anyone on this forum grow any of those persimmons? I’m interested in hearing other reports and possibly buying/trading for scions (which besides saving money being able to graft onto already established volunteer trees works much better for me than planting trees.)
Nolin River Nursery’s website indicates the owner just died, by the way. Is that very recent? Does anyone know if there’s anyone else that might keep the nursery going? I never dealt with them, but I heard good things about them, and I appreciated the things they were maintaining and making available to others.
