Hey guys, have this thing going that i havnt seen before. Ive pruned my fruit trees late winter/early spring this year, the cuts were healing and building walls all nicely, but the past month or 2 on this apple tree, i noticed they are leaking constantly, insects are loving it, the cuts are turning black and feel like rot is starting from being wet for so long… debating to cut them again , even the trunk is wet, this is my last nice tree atm!

Not sure if its relevant here but I’ve had my peach tree look like this after dormant pruning late winter. Didn’t seem to slow the tree down at all and those spots sealed up the following year for the most part.
Apples are a lot better at healing than peaches so I wouldn’t worry too much about this, not much that you can do about it any way, IMO.
