Apples with thick or otherwise insect-resistant skin

Codling moth and I share tastes! How very exciting.

By and large a good apple, Liberty. I sold it in order to gain space for trying something unusual here. Risky, but maybe I’ll find a treasure.

You are a Hull? Through my mother, I am related to huge portions of the population of Michigan and Ohio!

That could be us, Nutting. Does the name Willard Hull mean anything to you? He was my great-great grandfather, and if I am not confused, ran a dairy farm in Ohio in the late 1800’s. My great aunt Edna never left Ohio, living and working in Cleveland until her death.

I’ve got a ton of family information but there’s enough of it I can’t keep it straight without notes!

My mother would know. Her father was Clyde and he had cousins who all looked alike to me. Mom was originally from Dearborn. I grew up Way Out West in Spokane so had scarce contact and heard too little about the Hulls.
