Tomcot Apricot in a smart pot. Leaves are rolled up, they weren’t like this before. What gives?
Any chance the soil dried out?
Not as far as I can tell.
I would wonder the other way… has it been kept too moist? If the medium is holding a lot of water and we’ve had enough rain it may be having some issues with the roots being too wet too long. I lost a transplanted apricot this year because I’m pretty sure it was in too wet of a spot and the first sign was that the leaves looked like it was drying out but I could tell form the soil that wasn’t the case.
If you think it might be too much water, I would try to keep it under cover on rainy days/nights so you can control it. You might also try the trick of using some hydrogen peroxide in the water that works well with seedlings that are overwatered, but I haven’t tested that with trees so you might want input from others before giving that a go.
