Asian pear trouble

I am sure someone here knows what this is. Thanks for any help?

I can’t tell you what it is but a couple of my new grafted pear trees for about years now has had a few leaves that look similar. It has only been on my rapidly growing scions. As of now it doesn’t appear to be causing any problems other than appearance. Looking forward to seeing if others have any more incite about it.

Thanks for the response this tree is 1st year and is growing rapidly.

Any time I see black I get paranoid about fire blight. Especially on pears and fast growing shoots. Not saying that is fire blight at all, just an overall comment on my paranoia. Lol

I have just been observing my trees for sings of FB. My trunks seem unaffected causing me to think it is something else. I haven’t seen any of the signature hooking so often displayed with blossom time infections. Got my fingers crossed that yours will be ok.

It could be just wind damage as it happens here too when wind is strong.
