Bacterial Leaf Shot - What to do?

I have a Methley Plum that I am fairly certain has a moderate case of bacterial leaf shot. It dropped 50-75% of its leaves last year from leaf shot and I sprayed it with fungicide believing it to be fungal leaf shot, but it has reappeared again equally as strong this year. The tree has not suffered any lack of vigor - it is actually my most vigorous tree - but I would like to try to get rid of it.

I have read there isn’t a cure for the bacterial type and that copper can be used when dormant but is that all that can be done? (Aside from removing dropped leaves, twigs, etc)

Thanks

The Kocide 3000 label lists Fall and leafbud break / green tip as the best application times for bacterial shot hole on Plum.

I’m curious if spraying with copper now will be of any help? I assume the fall application is due to conditions being right for it to spread with cooler wetter weather

Try spraying serenade or any other broad spectrum fungicide/bactericide along with regalia. Other option is to spray Zerotol 2.0 which is hydrogen peroxide with peroxyacetic acid.
