Best Large Scale Fruit Plantings

Wineberries look like a great berry to grow on a larger scale according to my preliminary research. Is there a place to purchase large quantities of 100 or so plants? Aronia have been a great plant but I’m limited on what I can do with them. Blackberries are one of the best plants for Kansas and my family heirloom variety is working for me. Carmine Jewell cherries are an excellent cherry for large plantings. Pears are one of the lower maintenance fruit trees that can be grown on a large scale. Any fruits that your growing on a larger scale that are low spray, hi yield like those I’ve mentioned? In the north my understanding is blueberries fit that category and I wish they did better here.

In my part of NC blackberries and blueberries are both high yield with the potential for low spray if you can put up with some Japanese Beatles and are willing to take a chance on SWD. 6K-8K pounds of blueberries or 10K-15K pounds of blackberries are excellent yield numbers on 1 acre.

Blueberries sound fantastic there! Had no idea how good they could do there! Blackberries must grow good in a lot of places since we do good with those in Kansas. We have a huge Japanese beetle problem some years.
