Blackberry Murder?!

My thornless upright blackberries are now 2 years old.
I thought I was tipping the canes at a reasonable height, about 5 feet.

But now after lots of rain and perhaps due to excessive height, they have completely fallen over.
Will it do any permanent harm to cut these canes back now, to about 2-3 feet, so I can build a permanent support structure?

I doubt it does any harm except reduce next year’s crop.

(At first from the title I thought you’d ran over your smartphone or something.)

Ha!!
Yep I planned on sacrificing all or most of next years crop but I just hafta get some support for these.
They’re on a little slope and are reaching a little downhill for the sun, so everything is pushing them to flop, I guess.
