Is anybody growing this variety? Sounds like its a sport of Bosc that is fully russetted like Golden Russet Bosc, but ripens later than Bosc and supposedly has higher soluble solids.
I have the golden russet and an unknown russet bosc. They taste just like bosc. Just look different. Golden russet is supposed to ripen a week before regular bosc, so beauty a week after sounds possible. I do not have regular bosc to make the ripening comparison though.
