I won’t be doing my chip buds on peach until it cools off in a couple weeks. I’ll post some pics then. Mine are definitely nothing beautiful, but they seem to work.
I did them in early sept last year. However the forecast this year is for high 80s and 90s and I’m afraid they’ll cook.

Did some final citrus budding for the year, hopefully theses work.
The first round I did everything failed except the changshou kumquat, which I guess the reason for the first set of failure was that there probably wasn’t sanitized very well.
The second round had a 100% fail rate, which those ones I’m assuming it got too hot even though they all were in full shade of a big tree, because it warmed to over 100°f for several consecutive days the next week in which all the scions rotted in unison.
Now this time I should have all bases covered, because I kept it clean and sanitary as possible and they will be kep indoors where it won’t get above 90°f at all.
