C. Lee Calhoun 1934-2020

News from Eliza Greenman: Lee Calhoun’s house is for sale. There are still loads of trees in there, so it would be great to find someone who would want to care for them.

Hopefully the new owner will appreciate the work and all the apple tree varieties Lee Calhoun has put there.

Through the sale of Lee’s estate, a generous grant was given to Horne Creek Farm to build a permanent building at the Southern Heritage Orchard. Amazing how this man’s work continues.

Yes- Lee wisely planned how to preserve his legacy. Too many people give no thought to it, don’t even make a will.

That is so true. Then it becomes such a huge mess when they do not even make a simple will.

He lived on Black Twig Lane. That answers which is his favorite apple. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
