I’m looking for some help from the plum experts out there in identifying a plum tee that was definitely mislabeled.
I originally brought this subject up over a week ago here:
The tree was supposed to be a Luisa Japanese plum, but several owners of Luisa trees confirmed that this is definitely not a Luisa plum tree. Luisa plums are elongated like most European prune type plums, not round (as most other Japanese plums usually are).
None of my plums currently growing look exactly like the mislabeled plums that are growing, although some look a bit similar.

Black ice, similar but smaller.
Mystery plum
Purple heart, similar coloring, but smaller, and heart shaped (not round).
Nadia, similar shape, coloring more advanced, size smaller than mystery plum.
The mystery plums are all a very good size and are a fair bit larger than the other ones pictured.

Their list of plum trees is quite extensive. I guess it could be any of the pluots, hybrid, interspecifics, or Japanese plums on their list. It could even be a variety not listed, as they usually add a couple of new varieties to their list each fall.
If I recall correctly this mystery plum bloomed a bit later than most of my other non European plums. The other pluots, hybrid, interspecific, or Japanese plums were still in bloom, but the mystery plum was one of the last of this group to blossom(if I recall correctly). I could be wrong because I never recorded the bloom dates, and my memory has really gone downhill with advancing age.
Anyone care to wager I guess here on what I was misshipped?
