Che trees in zone 5?

Does anyone have experience growing Che in zone 5? I’ve read online that it’s hardy to this zone but I’m unsure if it is able to fruit here and information online is sparse.
Thanks!

My two 4 years old in-ground seedless Che in Z5 Omaha did not fair well this year with a -29F around Valentine’s day. The top 2/3 of the trees are dead. The bottom of the trees passed the green scratched test but I am still waiting for them to sprout out from the green portion to know for sure that they are still alive. Crazy polar vortex year.
