Yes they can. They even have small raspberries too.

if they can handle -30 im interested! my nelsons are hardy but the fruit is smaller than most of my raspberries.

I’m not sure about -30F. The lowest I got last year was -5F and they were still fine (unprotected) and fruited. It’s easy enough to test how well they do! Remind me in early spring and I can send you some.

During a -30f they might die back to the ground and come back up

we actually havent seen below -20 here in 5 yrs but 6 yrs ago we hit -40 for 3 days so i might lose a few years after a typical winter. then again , they might suprise us.

Yes that’s literally true. Fluoride and especially pesticides like Atrazine; both are proven to be very dangerous, and fluoride finally had real human tooth studies done showing that it does not actually benefit human teeth….. So why is it still in the water? (Actually hundreds of cities and counties have removed it since it has been declared to have no proven benefits, probably to make sure they avoid lawsuits, mostly, but they’re starting to remove it…or should I say stopping adding it)
But on the behavioral side, I think comfort and school are mostly to blame. Comfort becomes addictive and almost everything great becomes “too hard”. What did we really think we’d teach children in school sitting down inside all day? You know what they really learned? Sit down inside all day.
