We visited an open house yesterday to see a potential house to buy and I was puzzled with a climbing plant growing near deck . The leaves were very similar to black locust tree leaves, but it was definitely a vine and most likely planted for decoration. Unfortunately I didn’t make any pictures. Any idea what it could be?
Wisteria? Akebia?

I first ruled out Wisteria, as picture I saw online had different leaves. But looks like there are different kinds of it and I found a picture with similar leaves. Need to google Akebia. Looks like it could be Akebia too. But in both cases it was planted in a wrong location - both plants are 20-30’ climbers, and could make disaster on deck railing.
