Cold Hardy Nectarines

I was looking at posts about cold hardy Nectarines. I’m in zone 5B. There are some posts that mention Mericrest, but those posts are about 10 years old. It’s p[ossib;e there is more current info and I wasn’t able to find it.

What are people actual experiences in Zone 5?

I added a Hardired its a Canadian bred nect. Not sure if there are more hardy ones.

Mericrest and Hardired: are they late-blooming (for a nectarine) besides being cold-hardy?

And/or “bud-hardy”? (Erratic spring temperatures here! I wouldn’t even try but my husband loves nectarines.)
