I am lucky to be in a bit of a warm spot for PNW. I am located between Orchard Street and Pearl Street, and I can see the N Tacoma reservoir and Kandle Park from my front yard. Puget Sound is due East, West, & North, with good elevation/slope and alluvial soil. The Summer around Puget Sound tends to be mild, dry, and relatively cloudless. The Gala, Fuji, and Jonagold apples tasted great after this miserable Summer. If it does not require hot days to ripen, I am confident it will do well most years.
