Could this signal relief for 2021

Could this be a signal for relief for 2021. For the last three days the number of Japanese Beetles found on my vines and orchard trees have gone down to about five in the morning and five in the afternoon. For me the numbers have been higher this season than what I normally have. I’m ready for a little relief. Someone (not sure who) posted that the bloom time was late causing the peak beetle infestation to match the peak muscadine bloom. Good logic in my opinion. As soon as the muscadines finished blooming the beetle mostly moved to the plums/pluots and apples.

We seem to have a few more this year than the past couple of years. Finally got to my threshold limit with the damage and knocked them back last night by spraying the sweet cherries which tend to be the magnet for us. Been knocking off the ones I can reach easily into a bucket of soapy water.
