Daffodils rooting in bag

I have about 700 daffodils to plant. A few are in plastic bags (from shipper) which apparently hold enough moisture to trigger rooting. Any issue with this? I should have them planted by the weekend.

No worries…go for it.

My crocuses were pushing roots and even sprouts in a number of cases. Just get them planted, the plants will figure things out once the weather drops back down into the colder temperatures.

They should be fine as long as they aren’t rotting.

I ordered saffron crocus this year, then procrastinated badly on planting them. By the time I tore open the paper bag they came in, they were in full bloom. I think they will be fine, though. I planted them about 5 days ago, and now they are almost finished blooming and are pushing leaves.
