I have pears on ohx333 near the house. How far do the roots go? I was thinking of moving them. One is uphill 4’ away and behind a 2’ brick wall, the other is about 8’ from the house and nearly the same level. The uphill one has been there 4 or 5 years and has a thick anjou branch and 3 other varieties which take turns bearing a lot of pears. The other is younger and has warren and a couple others. Some places in the yard have clay, but I haven’t dug deep enough to find clay where these pears are. Should I move them?
They will be fine to grow there.
