Does gypsum dissolve through weed fabric?

Hi,

I want to put down weed fabric between my orchard rows since I do not spray for weeds, and it is too large to weed by hand. However my soil is heavy clay and I also need to apply gypsum, so I am wondering if this is something that will dissolve through the landscape fabric, and if not, will it leech down if I apply on top of mulch?

Is it something I can put down heavy once, or does gypsum need annual application?

it is partially soluble and it would leach down without a problem.

Get a gypsum that is a granule and it will disperse through the fabric.
