Early So Cal peaches - inland vs coastal difference?

Do people notice a difference in flavor for early peaches in Southern California, depending on whether they are grown in coastal areas vs inland? I heard that early peaches in So Cal are not as good because of inadequate heat to ripen. But that was a coastal perspective. I had my first Flordaprince peach today and it was amazing. Where I am 15 miles inland, the morning fog burns off quick and then the afternoon is often pretty warm from 10 to 6.

This makes me want to try other early peaches or nectarines. What are people’s favorite varieties for early season low chill peaches or nectarines?

Two great early peaches are Eva’s pride and May pride. Honestly, all of the pride series peaches are awesome. You may want to stagger the ripening time with your new tree, so they don’t all ripen at the same time. Unless that’s what you’re going for .
