What are everyones thoughts on using Lawn Fertilizer (not with Weed/Feed) 30-0-7 for evergreens needing a high dose of nitrogen?
It’s not high dosage, just high concentration; i.e. 1 lb of it contains 6 times the quantity of available N as a pound of 5-1-1 fish fertilizer.
If you want to use it on conifers, I’d recommend 1/2 the listed per area dosage for lawns along with granular iron sulfate fertilizer at the dosage listed for trees.

I want to use it on blue aptos redwoods and photinia’s to stimulate rapid growth. Already spread some this afternoon, hope I am not over doing it.
