Flowering in Fall?

So my Winter Banana decided to start flowering while many trees are starting to drop leaves in anticipation of fall. What the heck is going on here?

No one has experience with this? I find it very odd an apple tree starting to flower in late fall.

Unusual weather pattern can fool a tree to bloom 2x/year. Some varieties are more prone to secondary bloom than others.
There are quite a few species here flowering for second time this year, as there was extended unusually warm and very dry spell.
It’s is not a good thing, unfortunately. At least, the tree’d spend some flowering buds for the next season(that will decrease/deplete the crop). In addition, that may weaken the tree significantly as it spends its vigor in such an energy costly process as reproduction.
