@thecityman it looks like we got really cold last night down the at least 29 degrees. All of my persimmons that significantly budded out sustained total or near total damage to their shoots. The ones that were slower to wake up might have gotten a pass. I hope the damaged trees don’t die. If some do, I can quickly replace them with the dozen or so grafted persimmons I made last year that are still potted and protected indoors.
Pawpaw flower buds look burned and I’m not sure about how my pears and peach fared. The leaves on everything else perked back up after it warmed up other than for some burnt fig, and hardy kiwi leaves.
I should at the very least have a good fig, berry, and maybe jujube harvest this year.
@tonyOmahaz5 I’m glad to see your trees aren’t so advanced. You’ll likely still get a decent pear harvest!
