I have not been to it, although I know where it is. The one in Lake Wales right? Citrus doesn’t really interest me, but if they have other things I may go check it out.
It is in Winter Haven. My neighbor works there and told me about and said that most people don’t know that the public is welcome and are allowed to pick fruit that is in season. I got a big ole Jackfruit when I went. They have a number of non-citrus things or related to citrus but not what you think of as traditional citrus.
It’s worth a visit and doesn’t cost anything. They have every variety of citrus you could think of planted. All the varieties of finger limes even. I plan on going back in the fall/winter to pick some citrus when it’s in season and collect some more seeds.

got updates, several blackberry got drowned but the apples, grapes and the one maple and one pawpaw all are doing very well
also several lilac runners in there.

I selected the most juicy and tasty fruits as my seedling. It was one of the best lychee I ever tasted from Mexico. Store purchased. I tried growing lychee from Asian, failed. 2 Asian lychee dead, after 2 years and never thrive. The Lychee seedlings from Mexico sprouted in 100 degree weather and look great. They grow in a big pot because it was available.

A bunch of seedlings I just uppotted.
Tree Tomato seedling from fruits I ate last year. I have one in ground and 2 in pots that will hopefully be inground next spring.
Brazilian Milkfruit (Cordia taguahyensis) about 6 momths old, maybe less.
Mysore raspberry (Rubus niveus). I only had 2 sprout and survive, a lot of them died after first sprouting and a few of them died on uppotting.
Some abiu seedlings (Pouteria caimito) from improved varieties. Very excited for these guys one day.
Randia ferox, a relative to Blackberry Jam Fruit. Different leaf shape, almost needle like and much longer than my 2/3 year old BbJF bush.
Pitangatuba (Eugenia selloi) transplanting well. This is about the size my eugenias start struggling though, so I will monitor them closely. Definitely the genus I have die the most after multiple true leaves appear.
Orange Cherry of the Rio Grande (Eugenia involucrata). Same as above, but these seem more vigorous and seem to be out of the flaundering phase already.

Yellow or Golden Kiwi seedlings. Just found out that I need male and female plant to make fruits. I asked my partner to make me some seedlings. She failed. I ended up doing it myself and I succeeded. There are 4 in the pot.

I posted my 9 Asian seedlings in Spring of last year. I asked AI if Asian pear seedling can grow up to 6ft tall during the 2nd year. It told me 3 - 4 ft because the seedlings are focus on growing the roots.
Update for year 2:
Out of 9 seedlings, 6 grow at least 5 ft. Out of the 6, 1 grow to 6 ft. I posted the 3 tallest seedlings. The pear was from a grocery store. It was labeled as Sand Pear. I believe base on the size of the fruit, it’s Korean Giant seedlings. It was transplanted to 1 gallon container, then quickly to 3 gallon, and finally in the ground during October for the tallest 5 plants.

well all seedlings grew well and are beginning to fade a bit with the season change. will wait until most are fully dormant later this month and plant them in
just finished planting the last strawberries you see here too some were sent to me generously from the swap thread and a few others were runners from my old plant.

No, it’s not a pipe cleaner. It’s a 7ft bamboo. The sharp point was pushed into the ground.

I have a few seedlings that for whatever reason are quite small. I am planning to leave them in 1 gallon pots until they size up more. They are pear and plum seedlings. Should i provide them with winter protection?

It’s just a strap, at least to me. I guess it could be use for cleaning the pipe too. It’s easy to bend it and twist it. It’s soft on the plant that’s why I use it.
I started one of these seeds less than a year ago indoors and believe it or not it’s flowered in a 1g container 
! Craziest thing I’ve grown

Yeah, mine have done very well. I tried a Cordia genus before and the seeds never sprouted, so I am glad I didn’t have the same experience again. I might be getting more Brazilian Milkfruit in the next couple weeks, depends on how long the sellers Imbe supplies last.

Giant Mulchi seedling (Plinia inflata). Supposed to take a very long time to fruit, so in this one for the long haul. Still excited about it.

My trifoliate orange seedling.
About three of them are toast with just temperature to the low twenties and are split and drying out
Some dropped all of their leaves and look fine while others still have all their leaves and look fine. Some were growing up until the frost and the tender growth got burnt. The tallest are about 2.5’ tall and the shortest 3" tall, some have thick leaves and others have very thin leaves.

They are deciduous. Now the splitting could definitely die back, but they are tough plants I would expect they can make a comeback in spring.
