I was thinking Tinder by the subject line. A new site for selling plant material just popped up. 25 cents to list 5% commission on final value, some are auctioned, some a set price. I sold two items so far. So I’m already doing what you’re offering. WAY better than EBay where I used to sell plant material. Well as far as fees. Not as good as Figbid. Which has been in place some time now. You can sell other plants there and I have. Commission is even lower at 2%. Lot’s of competition out there.

Well just letting you know. Come up with something better. It’s just a a basic auction site using standard auction software. Much like this site is forum software. Both sites use the same software that is specialized for what they are auctioning. I myself only auction figs, I sell plant material at a fair set price myself. Like 8 cuttings for 12 bucks, about what I charge people who contact me and have nothing to trade. Mostly goes to postage but a few bucks for my trouble. I only do it for my plants that need pruning. I might as well sell the wood as it’s coming off the plant anyway.
My garden now is mature. I just got done pruning blueberries and will be throwing out the wood as it is near impossible to root cuttings. I only sell currants and other easy to root plants and stone fruit scion. I had to prune my trees and I hated too throw out the wood.

Very interesting concept and if you can get lot of people on board could be successful :+1: Good luck with the project :relaxed:
