Gooseberry cherry tomato

I bought some Gooseberry cherry tomatoes from Trader Joe’s and grew out a few seeds. I was surprised that the leaves looked like eggplant leaves. I really taste like a real Gooseberry and I am not sure how the breeder cross to get this variety?

Are these also called inca berry, actually a ground cherry?

I am not sure. I googled Inca berry and found this photo. The leaves a little different from mine. I will take some photos of my plant with fruits down the road to see if the two look similar.

Ground cherries, Golden Berries, Inca Berries, Cape Gooseberries, etc, are all basically the same thing/closely related.
