Grafting Blk Walnut

Temperature question… if the temperatures are in the high 70s to low 80s during the day, but it’s still in the 50s to low 60s at night, can I successfully graft heartnut onto black walnut?

the 2023 grafting thread has some good information on walnut grafting. Check on @Fusion_power’s comments on the subject. There are some older topics concerning grafting english walnuts; they probably work about the same as heartnut.
