Grafting Nectarines onto Pluots

I don’t know, if this question has been asked before, but I need
to do some major reshuffling next year, and am looking at various possibilities. Has anyone ever tried to graft a nectarine onto a pluot, either a partial or a full top graft, The pluot has K-1 as its root stock. Thanks for all replies.

So, which nectarines do you plan on adding? And which pluots are to be top-worked?

I got a peach to work on apricot by using pluot as the middle branch. Worked fine until winter killed the whole works. The only problem i saw was the pluot i used (most of them?) are so fast growing that the branch of pluot tried to take over the tree so i had to prune a lot.

I have a large old Red Gold that I need to move, and I
thought I’d back it up by grafting it onto an extra Flavor
Treat.
