A couple of years ago I stratified some peach seeds in the fridge and planted them for root stocks. Some I planted in permanent locations, I put two per hole. My thought was that I would graft both and hope for a 50 percent take, culling the rootstock that did not take. I had two contender peaches take that were in the same hole. I figured I would have to kill one but it has been really wet here and the ground is soft so this afternoon I just pulled one up. Got lots of nice roots so I planted it in an open spot.
