'Gragg' Variety Apple Search

I have come across a story while researching my husband’s ancestors telling of an apple variety that was names after them. It is called the Gragg Red Apple and was started in the vicinity of North Carolina. I would love to purchase a seedling if anyone knows where I could find such a thing!

Always a good sign when you can find it listed on Pomiferous (an excellent informational website for apples).

Looks like you may have already found a source so that’s cool!

synonyms: ‘Red Gragg,’ ‘Winter Queen’

Note: It’s not a seedling you want, but rather a clone. Apples are notoriously variable when grown from seed, but through grafting to produce clones they can be true to type.
