So I bought my first house a little over a year ago and it was part of a very old 50 acre fruit tree farm. The property is 2 acres and owned by an elderly couple that couldn’t do any up keep. The whole property was a forest of autumn olive. After removing the trees I had no idea I had fruit trees. On my property I have many apples trees, pear trees and cherry trees but I have one tree I don’t know I first thought it was just a crab apple but I’m pretty sure it’s a plum or nectarine tree. I found my dog last year running around my yard with a dark colored unripe plum, this year the tree has a crazy big bloom! Any experts know ?

Whatever it is, it’s beautiful! Maybe a close up picture of the bark could be helpful.

looks like japanese plum. if you mean which cultivar, i think you’ll need to wait for fruit.
Yea I thought it was a plum but now I know for sure thanks guys, I was also looking to find out the cultivar, figured I would have to wait till it fruits. When I looked into japanese plum like all plums I looked into it’s hard to find one that has all white flowers like mine with no pink at all. I’m thinking Methley plum but I’ll have to wait, apples are my thing, if you know any plums with all white flowers let me know
