The characteristics I’m looking for is a persimmon that can be eaten crisp, as little astringency as possible, is a semi-reliable producer, is self-fertile and is hardy down to zone 6 / 7.
After much deliberation I have settled on growing one or two of the following varieties. Apparently there is a poll option in this forum so I feel free to enter your opinion below.

- Ichi-Ki-Kei-Jiro
- Gwang Yang
- Tan Kam
