Help - what's wrong with my Guava tree

I’m seeing this issue from last summer. I have been seeing the fruits wilting/dropping premature, fruits developing a black patch on their surface, some developing cracks and falling premature. Fruits have a bitter taste. This tree was there for 12 years and till 2020, producing fruits of great size and taste. Please help.

I am just north of you in Vista. Those fruits appear to be rotting. Were they sunburn in the heat last month? Is the night-time humidity high at your location? Mine has been over 90% after dark until early morning for the past 2 weeks.
