Ive built two hoop houses with hinges to be able to open them. One has pumpkins started from seed and one has tomatoes. The pumpkins are now a couple inches tall and the tomatoes are about a foot tall. This is my first year with a hoop house.
Question- today is supposed to be 75 and full sun. The plastic on my hoophouse is not super clear (no idea the actual transmisivity). Is it better to leave them closed during the day todayto get much warmer, or open them up during the dayto get more sunlight and close at night to maintain temp?
