Spain and New Zealand have jointly come up with a new apple variety for hot climates.
First commercial plantings in Spain happened in 2020.

had a chance to try this shiny red apple for hot climates?

New to me, of course, but maybe check with @applenut, who is currently growing apples in Uganda, I believe.

The Israelis will report on in soon, I am sure.
I would expect someone in olive growing areas to be keen on a new red eating apple they could grow.
