How cold hardy is the white Pakistan mulberry?

I just purchased a white Pakistan mulberry from Bay Laurel Nursery and they claim “Cold hardy to zone 9, perhaps as low as 6 when mature”. I decided to take chance on it since I’ve been coveting this hard to find variety for awhile. Thanks Tom in (8b)

I’d try it. I know a well-established tree in the 8b/9a borderline.

so how was your tree? did it survive winter?

I got this last Spring. It was labeled white Australian but I believe it is the same.
We will see if it survives winter.

I’m thinking white austrian would be more appropriate for your locale :wink:
