How much fruit are y'all actually harvesting?

How much fruit?

No telling.

Nature says how much.

Before I went to war with squirrels and chipmunks, they would strip this tree clean before the fruit was even half size.

That is why you plant all sort of fruit, all sort of varieties of a fruit and all sort of maturities.

The early harvest may not have a crop this year, but the medium or late harvest may. Some apples are biennial and only crop every other year. Birds can eat a lot. Chipmunks and squirrels also strip lots of fruit. If you have deer problems, they can shred a tree unless it is armor plated.

Just put lots of fruit producers in the ground and see what happens. If they don’t work out, then pull em out and put in something new.

It is good you are growing fruit now. It can take many years to be productive. You won’t have to eat dogfood if things get rough!

The difference between 4000 ft and 6000 ft is amazing weather wise. We had gale force winds here for 3 days. Have had gusts 70 mph plus. Winds almost always are severe in March and early April, usually when the fruit trees are in bloom. The wind just knocks all the bloom off and if strong enough the fruit set.
Two years ago had an amazing crop of peaches. Last year so so. This year doesn’t look good.
Cherries are in full bloom. Temps now in the low 80s. Have had snow in May, so we will see.
In N Az if you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes and it will change.
Happy gardening to everyone!
